Below are links to the “About” pages for a number of human rights organizations. Take a look and consider donating time or money to a cause that resonates with you.   • American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) - The ACLU has been at the center of nearly every major civil liberties battle in the U.S. for over 100 years. ⛑️

  • Community Appointed Special Advocates/Guardians Ad Litem (CASA/GAL) - The National CASA/GAL Association for Children supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy for children and youth who have experienced abuse or neglect. CASA/GAL volunteers are appointed by judges to advocate for children’s best interests. ⛑️

  • International Rescue Committee (IRC) - The IRC responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises, including the conflict in Ukraine and the crisis in Afghanistan. They help to restore health, safety, education, economic wellbeing and power to people devastated by conflict and disaster, including fighting for women and girls to have an equal chance to succeed. ⛑️

  • National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) - The NAACP is the home of grassroots activism for civil rights and social justice. They advocate, agitate, and litigate for the civil rights due to Black America. ⛑️

  • National Immigrant Law Center (NILC) - The National Immigration Law Center (NILC) is one of the leading advocacy organizations in the U.S. dedicated to advancing and defending the rights and opportunities of low-income immigrants and their loved ones.   • Native American Rights Fund (NARF) - The NARF provides legal assistance to Native American tribes, organizations, and individuals nationwide who might otherwise have gone without adequate representation.

  • United We Dream - United We Dream is the largest immigrant youth-led network in the country, whose members advocate for the dignity and respect of all immigrants. ⛑️

  • The Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights - The Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights protects and advances the rights and best interests of immigrant children according to the Convention on the Rights of the Child and state and federal law. ⛑️
